ぐーたら、テレビみながら
髪の毛かきかき、

あらま、日が暮れた

愛され神様、降臨して
枕に、うでまくら

うっすら、瞼を閉幕

The Arrival of a Lazy Goddess

Did nothing today—still cute. ♡

I did nothing today…

Oh, I didn’t even look in the mirror…

Still in my threadbare pajamas,
lounging across the chabudai, watching TV,
scratching my hair,
lazy, lazy.

Oh dear,
before I knew it, the sun had set.

The god of love descended,
and gave me an arm for a pillow.

Got a little too dreamy,
and my eyelids fell like curtains.

Good night.

Lazy days are when the universe does its maintenance, too.

My Universe Within

Lazy and slow,
even so-
the world keeps turning,
the whole galaxy,even.

When i smile,
the universe softens.
And just like that,
I’m deeply, effortlessly loved.
