A Little Whisper

A little whisper

hums softly at my ear

In the empty bedroom

only the curtains sway gently

Hey—you're there, aren't you?

Invisible, yet the light touches me

The road runs

the clouds dance

and beyond them, the light draws me

Dazzling

and tender

the warmth seeps deep into my chest

Filling me down to my marrow—

grasping,

never letting go
